For the week of April 29 - April 25,  for $3.13 OOP (out of pocket), I was able to get 9 items with a retail value of approximately $21.17 (including tax).  So, how did I do it?  I did it with 2 Transactions, a few good sales and some of ECBs (Extra Care Bucks)!  What did I get?


Transaction #1 (started with $4 ECB's)

• (1) Mentos Gum (99¢ regularly / 55¢ MFR coupon)
• (2) Mentos Gum (99¢ regularly / $1.00 MFR coupon)
• (1) Colgate Max Fresh ($2.99 on sale / $1.00 MFR coupon / $2.49 ECB earned!)
• (2) Dove Milk Chocolate Bars (99¢ on sale / 50¢ MFR coupon)

Subtotal: $1.45
KS Tax (8.750%):  73¢
Total:  $2.18


Transaction #2 (started with $2.49 ECB's from Transaction #1)

• (2) Speedstick 24x7 (2 for $5 on sale / BOGO MFR coupon / 75¢ MFR coupon)
• (1) Colgate Max Fresh ($2.99 on sale / 50¢ MFR coupon / $2.49 ECB earned!)

Subtotal: 26¢
KS Tax (8.750%):  69¢
Total:  95¢


A few things to note:

• After everything was purchased, I still had $2.49 ECBs to use during my next trip!
• My Speedstick deodorant coupon rang up for a 'max' price of $3.99.  I was told it was an error at the register and should have rang up for only $2.50.
• I forgot to use my CVS Kiosk Coupon Print Outs:  $1 off ANY deodorant and $1 off ANY toothpaste.  My actual OOP total for the day would have been $1.13 versus $3.13.  (Darnit!)
